Did you know…

The average cost of a wedding in the US is more than $26,000.

How much did you invest in each other when you first got married?  When you add up the cost of courtship, rings, wedding, and honeymoon, and then add in the years you’ve already given each other, your marriage has been a major investment and is worth protecting.  What would it be worth to you to give yourselves a second chance at real happiness with a successful marriage?

The legal fees for a divorce cost between $15,000 and $30,000.

That’s right, the divorce costs roughly as much as the wedding.  This is the cost of the legal fees only and does not include the cost of splitting assets, maintaining two living spaces, or emotional ramifications for all involved.

We believe most people marry with the intention of marrying once.  I have never met a couple who planned to get divorced before they ever said “I do.”

However, we know from experience, that all relationships go through rough patches.  We are here to help you navigate through those difficult times.  Whether this is your first marriage or even a second or third marriage, we want to help you make this marriage last for the rest of your life.

Why Us?

There are many counselors and coaches to choose from.  In fact, a recent statistic revealed that 84% of mental health counselors in the largest counseling directory listed “marriage counseling” as one of their skills.  However, only 12% of them have actually received extensive training in working with couples.  Even fewer specialize in it!

Tim is one of those few…he is an artist and an effective coach with the experience and knowledge to help you take your relationship to the next level.

“What greater thing is there for two human souls, than to feel that they are joined for life – to strengthen each other in all labor, to rest on each other in all sorrow,  to minister to each other in silent unspeakable memories at the moment of the last parting?”

― George Eliot

Frequently Asked Questions

What is marriage coaching like?
Marriage coaching is similar to counseling but it is much more focused on moving forward.  We help you navigate through the things that are happening now in your relationship.  We help you develop goals for your marriage and new processes of relating to one another so that you can have the marriage you’ve always dreamed of.
This is not my first marriage, can you help?
Absolutely!  Our goal is to help you make this marriage work.  And not just work, but be great, so that this marriage will last a lifetime.
Where do our coaching sessions take place?
Great question!
If you are near enough to travel to meet with us we do have an office in Greeley Colorado.
If not, no problem! Marriage coaching sessions can take place online in the comfort of your own home.  We will meet through Skype or phone so that you don’t have to go anywhere.
If you are up for traveling and ready to get away to devote some focused time on your marriage, marriage intensives are for you. We have some mountain getaway dates as well as cruises planned for 2018.
What is a marriage intensive?
A Marriage Intensive is similar to a “couples retreat.”  Tim will meet you for a weekend here in the Colorado Rockies.  You will have some in person coaching sessions with time in-between for you to process what you are learning.
How long will this take?
It really depends on what you would like to work on in your relationship and how committed you are to working hard.  On average, you should plan on six months to begin with and re-evaluate after that.
